I built my campaign the same way I approach everything: from the ground up.
When I ran for the North Carolina State Senate, I didn’t rely on the traditional political machine. I researched the process myself, built the infrastructure, developed the strategy, and executed the campaign independently. That experience forced me to learn every moving piece of a campaign—from messaging and outreach to voter engagement and momentum building.
It gave me something most political consultants never experience: a complete
understanding of how campaigns actually function because I carried the responsibility of building one myself.
